ABOUT CFL
PAST:
The Concord Football League was established in 1992 and was one of the first youth tackle football leagues in the area. CFL has been operating for over thirty years and has helped develop multiple division 1 football players over the years. This includes former NFL player, Jason Spriggs.
PRESENT:
CFL provides students in grades 4-6 the opportunity to play tackle football in a safe and fun environment. The goal of CFL is to create a life long love of football and to develop a desire in our students to someday play under the lights for the MINUTEMEN. We do this by teaching the rules and fundamentals of the game (blocking, tackling, throwing, and catching). We judge the success of our league based on the number of kids who choose to continue to play football in the years to come.
FUTURE:
We are looking forward to the future of our league as we continue to grow the number of students participating each year. We are always looking for ways to improve and would welcome feedback on ways to do so. Please reach out to CFL director Tim Koontz with suggestions.
